I am Anjana, from Hanumanth Nagar, Bengaluru Today at 9:30 pm. I had been to a bakery near Lakshmi Puram main road, Gavipuram.A dog suddenly from no where came and sat in my two wheeler in the space in front, refusing to get down. As we looked for owner,a person came forward, claimed to be a owner of the dog,he was drunk,was very rude with the dog, trying to punch the dog on its face and asking the dog to go with him. But the dog was scared and didn’t get down from the vehicle. As I confronted him,he was like it’s his brother’s dog and he has bought him for a walk.On asking him to tell properly whether the dog really belonged to him and we would inform police, he told he would get his vehicle and just left the place not to return.    
And the dog is a Labrador,male.He has small injuries on face and paw. He is friendly and well behaved.He has a blue colour belt in his neck.Now he is in my house. Kindly please help me with respect to how to go about it now and find the owner. He seems to be lost or stolen.    
Please suggest me what to do.  

We have eight dogs at home and it is not possible to foster him for long.
Please guide us.
